Shaking up Mount TBR

The next book I read will be by this author.

I read Dreams From My Father and LOVED it! I was a little worried because sometimes autobiographies can get a little dull when not done right. This one was excellent and made me feel like I knew Barack Obama a little better.

Which book will you be reading by him? I'm curious to read one (or both) of his books. I'm so happy he was elected. Good job! ^.~

Myza, Ambearo, Care,
I'm reading Dreams From My Father, but also want to read The Audacity Of Hope. Isn't it cool that he was an author first? Authors are my rock stars!

Lezlie,
I've had it for a while, but decided to wait until after the election.

Bookfool,
I hope you can find it. I could come over and help you through what you sometimes lead bloggers to believe is book chaos...sounds like a great way to spend the day!

John,
My students think he looks like Denzel.

Katya,
I'm bowled over by his writing..all that triangulation shows the mark of a superior intellect.

Carrie K,
I don't think he's going to have time to write for a while. But when he's out of office...no matter how things go, it will be a hell of a book!

I had The Audacity of Hope on the night-stand, but never got round to read it in time for the election. Now I set a deadline before his inauguration! :)

I would like to read his books--at least the first two. I have them on order, but I think I accidentally checked the box to have them delivered together with a pre-order, which won't be out until the 18th of this month. I have plenty to read in the meantime. :-)

I'm an event planner and a few years ago I got the opportunity to plan a book signing event for Barack. The day of the event, I got stuck on a conference call for another event and MISSED MEETING HIM ENTIRELY. This still haunts me.
