Done so soon! I'm sorry that I missed it! Three books is amazing for 24 hrs... I just hope I can finish The Historian this week :S. You've inspired me! I can do it!
I had the same feelings about Julie and Julia. I think it's a mom thing. I kept wanting to tell her to grow and get on with it, which is what I often want (and occasionally do) to say to my own 30-something daughter. But, that said, I did enjoy most of the book and was proud of her at the end.
I love the read-a-thon idea and would love to try it next time. Right now my only "a-thons" are work and sleep. Sad. But I did just finish Little Bee. It will take a while to get over it...
