Readathon Hour 15: Breakfast of Champions

In this last hour, I felt as if vampires had been at me, both mind and body. I was on the verge of wimping out, so I let my Tough & Cool Inner Bookworm take over.

You sleepy? she asked.

I nodded.

Well, that's tough. You're not getting any sleep till we see this thing through. You hungry?

Yeah I could eat, I told her.

Well, that can be negotiated, she said. So I/we? walked back to Dorm Sweet Dorm and ate a bowlful of kimchi and rice topped with a fried egg.

Magic. I'm revived. No more of the drained feeling. But just to be on the safe side, I topped it all off with a piece of Russell Stover candy -- dark chocolate with coconut underneath.

I'm back visiting blogs and cheering. Slow but diligent progress has brought me up to the M's. I'm starting to worry that I can't see everyone's blog/comment/trawl for interesting book titles before my cheerleading shift ends, 65 minutes from now. But I'll give it my best shot.

Ooh, eggs, that might help me, too! Lots of protein. I just have to wait to get hungry again after all that snacking. :P
