2nd Canadian Book Challenge, Eh?
This is sort of Wishlist Wednesday post, but not really. It's about time I got it together for The 2nd Canadian Book Challenge, Eh? My slowness is not entirely my fault. Can I use not being Canadian as an excuse? John offered such a rich variety of ways to participate, I was dazzled and overwhelmed. It was like being at the counter at Tim Horton's, a place I've never been, but would like to be someday.
Last challenge, I went province by province. While this was geographically helpful to me, it made completing the challenge a little difficult. This time, I'm going to take the Free Spirit approach. Here's my list, in no particular order -- and it could change...isn't that what being a free spirit is all about?
1. Anne Of The Island - L.M. Montgomery FINISHED
2. Anne Of Windy Poplars - L.M. Montgomery
3. Anne's House Of Dreams - L.M. Montgomery
4. Anne Of Ingleside - L.M. Montgomery
5. Rainbow Valley - L.M. Montgomery
6. Rilla Of Ingleside - L.M. Montgomery
Obviously, you're seeing a plan to complete the series. What can I say? I'm in love with the little redhead...auburn head from PEI. (She'd probably want to kick my ass for not loving The Little Prince, -- her type of book, if there ever was one -- but I could just go and have tea and cake with Rachel and Marilla until she got over it.) Plus, my Inner Completist Bookworm is twitchy all over.
7. Dressing Up For The Carnival - Carol Shields
8. The Manticore - Robertson Davies
9. Unless - Carol Shields FINISHED
10. Fifth Business - Robertson Davies FINISHED
11. World Of Wonders- Robertson Davies
12. JPod - Douglas Coupland FINISHED
13. Eleanor Rigby - Douglas Coupland. Raych gave this novel a favorable review. 8.5 juicy and squirmy caterpillars can't be wrong.

Great picks! Let's have fun with the challenge!
Hi! As always, thanks for the comment on my blog. And to answer your question, no I'm NOT going to quit blogging when I turn 31 ... but I WILL have to revised the name of my blog! :)
The Tim Horton's comment made me laugh! If you ever make it to Canada finding a Tim Horton's will not be hard - not only are they on every street corner (or so it seems) but I actually know of of a few places where they are across the street from each other!
