Dewey
The bad news just echoes and echoes around in my head. Nothing makes sense. How can that kind of energy filled to the brim with brilliance, creativity and sparkling humor be switched off so suddenly?
Dewey: You gave us an intoxicatingly beautiful bookish universe that we could visit every day. Thank you.

I just found out too. I feel shell-shocked. It's so unexpected. Thank you, Susan, for your post about Dewey. She had so much enthusiasm and welcomed everyone to the book-blogging world.
It echoes around in my head, too. I think the sudden deaths are the hardest -- so unexpected that you feel like you've been cut off at the ankles and suddenly can't go anywhere.
It's such a shock. I still can't believe it. Dewey always had such great ideas, and really became a center point in the book blogging community. We will miss her terribly. Hugs to you.
I can't make sense of it either. She had so much energy, she gave us so much, she touched so many lives. I can't believe she's gone.
I could hardly think of anything else all day, when I heard the news. I was so stunned. It is very sad, and we all will miss her.
I had the same reaction. She was a special person as shown by how she maintained her cheerfulness and energy despite what she must have been suffering. I'm stunned by this.
I think you summed up everything.
It's very sad. As large a hole as she'll leave in the blogging community, imagine the immensity of her absence in her family.
Dewey will be missed by so many. She gave us her words, her thoughts and she created such a wonderful community through her blog.
Indeed, very sad news. Her husband wrote a very loving farewell post on her blog.
I can't quite wrap my head around it either, it's just so awful.
