Book I'm reading right now: The 1964 Newbery winner, It's Like This, Cat by Emily Cheney Neville.
Thoughts: For some reason, I thought the book would be a little more beatnik, but it's wholesome in that sitcom-y Leave It To Beaver way. Of course, after the brooding Shadow of a Bull, (which was the winner the year after It's Like This, Cat) anything's going to seem a little corny.
