We actually lost a box in the last move. I still keep hoping it will show up, but I really don't think there are any more unopened boxes. I fear it went in the donation stack rather than the "move" stack.

On the flip side, there is nothing like the old friends in book form to make a new place feel like home.

Good luck on the move.Tamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16094928747500699123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-81225981194557935872012-02-08T17:08:10.411-08:002012-02-08T17:08:10.411-08:00Definitely don't give away anything you like. ...Definitely don't give away anything you like. Honestly, you will end up buying it again because it makes a big hole on your shelf when you unpack and 6 months from now something reminds you of it and you go looking and smack yourself in the head for getting rid of it. The trashy novels, the ones friends gave you that you will never read - heck yes, let them go. But if it takes you half an hour, my dear book-twin......lol I'm not helping you, am I???? :-D

PS I always feel a little guilty at giving any book away for donation, even though I know someone else could love it.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09095246748581382752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-7373135665564352432012-02-06T14:24:45.272-08:002012-02-06T14:24:45.272-08:00I'm impressed that you've culled 100 books...I'm impressed that you've culled 100 books so far. Even when I'm looking at a book I've read and didn't particularly like, a little part of me says "Well, who knows, you might want to reread it a few years from now. And you might love it then!" The last time I had to do serious culling, my collection was composed mostly of books I liked enough to reread, which made culling even harder.A Library Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06144279685884011943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-11153318302215755882012-02-06T04:54:30.349-08:002012-02-06T04:54:30.349-08:00"Cull"?
