I've struggled with his writing though. Whereas Barbara Pym I love. Enjoy your books!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-73277265695680820282010-04-07T20:13:26.939-07:002010-04-07T20:13:26.939-07:00Val,

I read Let The Hurricane Roar AKA Young Pioneers and her style is so staid and conventional, even a tad creaky. It hasn't aged as well as Laura's and her work.

Jessica,
I've been wondering if anyone would recognize any of the books on my shelves...the photo, taken with my son's laptop is a little blurry and too brightly lit. But yeah...TTG stands out nicely.Bybeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10061186489010154661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-63508712913600285032010-04-07T17:36:04.202-07:002010-04-07T17:36:04.202-07:00I just wanted to say the first thing I noticed whe...I just wanted to say the first thing I noticed when I looked at your header was a copy of The Tightwad Gazette!
