This review made me think I should try another of his books. I always love books with weird families, maybe I'm making up for having had the most normal family life ever.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16939250412823477518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-31960378352500882212008-10-13T16:05:00.000-07:002008-10-13T16:05:00.000-07:00I liked Eleanor Rigby. Isn't that annoying? I should just get over it.

I think my favorite is either "Girlfriend in a Coma" or "Life After God." But then I also loved "Miss Wyoming." And "The Gum Thief." Actually I loved them all. Bah. You might want to try Girlfriend in a Coma, next, to avoid the psychotic family thing -- it' involves a group of friends, rather than a big nutty family. Eleanor Rigby does involve a slightly wacky family.Bookfoolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08247136634069540446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-49586629644318104712008-10-10T11:21:00.000-07:002008-10-10T11:21:00.000-07:00Great review! Both were less flippant and had sadder themes like loneliness (ER).

I hate Scrabble.
We had a version called Numble, which only used numbers and had to be sequential and multiples of three? something like that.raidergirl3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03629915042716259349noreply@blogger.com
