Gilead was one of my favorite reads of last year, and I've given it away a bunch of times.

I'm planning to read Crime and Punishment soon. And I second the enthusiasm for Thirteenth Tale. It is a great story, but even more enjoyable for bookworms.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-1168298708964333802007-01-08T15:25:00.000-08:002007-01-08T15:25:00.000-08:00Hey there! I have a huge court case this Thursday so my brain is all on that. I haven't heard of a lot of your favourites, but since we seem to have similar tastes, I'm going to check some of them out.
Thanks for visiting my blog.lazy cowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10756448890246596503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-1167832284677035622007-01-03T05:51:00.000-08:002007-01-03T05:51:00.000-08:00Impressive list! Cravan sounds — I'm just feeling my way around graphic novels, so I really appreciate the summary.Isabella Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10735198478395875257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-1167786359817506752007-01-02T17:05:00.000-08:002007-01-02T17:05:00.000-08:00I have seen The Thirteenth Tale on practically eve...I have seen The Thirteenth Tale on practically every blog I've visited, so I am quite curious about it. Happily, I saw a copy at my favorite bookstore.Bybeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10061186489010154661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-1167778635101744182007-01-02T14:57:00.000-08:002007-01-02T14:57:00.000-08:00I love reading your blog and should have posted be...I love reading your blog and should have posted before telling you so. I really need to start keeping a reading journal. I have forgotten most of what I read in 2006 which is a shame. I was glad to see The Book Thief highlighted on your list. I cried for the beauty of the story and then again for the despair and sadness I felt. On the other hand, I read My Sister's Keeper after giving birth to my second daughter and was an emotional wreck for how close the relationships hit home. May I recommend The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield for 2007?slslavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18348674567461736388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6604938.post-1167708460930674372007-01-01T19:27:00.000-08:002007-01-01T19:27:00.000-08:00Great list! It was enough to turn me off reading any more of her stuff. Too overdone for my liking.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
